In February 2025, I was commissioned by Unity Group Real Estate to create a 4.5 x 2.4m painting for the reception entrance of their new building in Bethnal Green, East London.
Creating this piece in East London, where I lived for six years, felt like leaving a part of myself there. I loved developing the concept, painting, and bringing it all together in a place that means so much to me.
A brief description about the piece:
Title: Worth More Than Eyes Can See
Location: A six-floor office building at 469 Bethnal Green
This artwork intertwines two iconic East London narratives: the Kray Twins and the Blind Beggar. On the left, the infamous Kray Twins are subtly merged with a knight, symbolizing both power and fragility. Their presence recalls the 1966 murder of George Cornell at the Blind Beggar Pub, forever linking them to Bethnal Green’s history.
At the base, the Blind Beggar represents personal and communal struggles, his blindness symbolizing deeper wisdom. To the right, his daughter Bessy stands with strength, embodying resilience and the spirit of the community.
Encircling the piece, the phrase “Worth More Than Eyes Can See” reminds us to look beyond appearances and recognize the unseen strength and value in every individual.

Apart from this, a lot of work was applied to other mediums for the promotion of the game, such as an installations for a panel discussion about money during event Georgia Tech at McCamish Pavilion, Atlanta, costume design of the main mascot of the game and large posters and banners were glued around the arena apart from other merchandising.
The artwork created for the game was also showed in Times Square on large screens.
You know that feeling when you come back to the office after the weekend. Mondays can feel tough and heavy but you gotta keep on! Keep yourself active is a great way to deal with it!
